#Circle IPO定价31美元#
Circle IPO at a price of $31! 🚀
Circle triumphantly launched on the New York Stock Exchange, setting the stock price at $31 — above expectations! The company raised $1.1 billion, and its market capitalization reached $6.2 billion. The stock code is CRCL. The issuer of the stablecoin USDC faced enthusiastic demand, increasing the volume from 24 million shares to more than 34 million! 💸
💬 Do I hold USDC? Do I believe that Circle's success will accelerate the development of the stablecoin market and the adoption of digital currencies?
I hold some USDC, which is a convenient and stable asset for DeFi transactions and storage of funds. The successful IPO of Circle, in my opinion, is a powerful driver for the market. USDC already has a 27% share of the stablecoin market, and with a $1.1 billion IPO, Circle could increase competition with Tether, especially if new laws in the U.S., such as the GENIUS Act, create clear regulations. In 2024, stablecoins processed $27.6 trillion in transactions, overtaking Visa and Mastercard, and Circle's listing only strengthens their role as a "digital dollar." This can accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrencies in traditional finance, especially for payments and transfers. But risks such as regulatory changes and competition remain.
