Hong Kong Financial Secretary and Treasury Secretary Xu Zhengyu pointed out in his online column 'Financial Treasury' that Hong Kong has added virtual assets as qualified asset categories. Currently, there are more than 1,100 fintech companies with a 15% annual increase. Hong Kong will continue to promote the technological application of Central Bank's digital currency, mobile payment, digital banking, virtual asset trading, and promote the healthy, responsible, and sustainable development of Hong Kong stablecoins and the Web3 ecosystem. Looking forward to 2025, Hong Kong will continue to promote the healthy development of fintech, virtual assets, and the Web3 ecosystem.
