The stablecoin WYST, supported by Wyoming, is scheduled to launch its Mainnet on August 20 and will be deployed on 11 different Blockchains.
[Block Rhythm] On June 21, it was reported that the Wyoming Stable Token Committee is a government-supported organization responsible for developing the WYST stablecoin. According to its latest monthly meeting minutes, the committee plans to launch the Mainnet on August 20. The organization has not yet determined on which of the 11 blockchains—Aptos, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Sei, Solana, Stellar, and Sui—WYST will officially launch. However, the first government-supported stablecoin may be selected for issuance on multiple blockchains.
According to the latest schedule, the organization plans to "migrate the WYST smart contract to" the designated "candidate" blockchain. After that, the organization will conduct "production testing" by "using institutional funds to finance a small WYST procurement and ensuring the end-to-end process is in place" to prepare for the public release scheduled during the blockchain seminar in Wyoming in August.
According to previous reports, Wyoming's stablecoin WYST has entered a critical testing phase, and the governor stated that it is expected to launch in July.
