Recently, there have been new developments in the global trade situation. The United States and the European Union have almost reached a trade agreement, which means that the U.S. has completed tariff negotiations with most of its major trading partners. China has about 107 days of additional negotiation time. This progress brings positive signals to the market. Although the current tariff level of around 15% is still far higher than last year's average level of 2.5%, there has been significant improvement compared to the initial proposal, allowing the market to take a temporary breather.

Next, the market focus will shift to the impact of monetary policy and tariffs on inflation. With the exception of a few countries like China, the new tariff policy is expected to officially take effect on August 1. The inflation data for September will begin to reflect this change, and the direction of the Federal Reserve's policy will also become crucial.

This week, the market will welcome a series of important events:
1. Sino-U.S. Economic and Trade Talks from July 28 to 29
2. Federal Reserve interest rate decision on July 31
3. The deadline for reciprocal tariffs on August 1
4. Release of July Non-Farm Payroll Employment Data

At the same time, the US stock market will welcome the earnings season for tech giants. On July 30, Microsoft and Meta will release their earnings reports; on July 31, Apple and Amazon will announce their earnings. On the same day, Figma, valued at $16.5 billion, will conduct the largest IPO in the US stock market this year, using a limit price subscription method.

Recent earnings reports from the US stock market show that even companies with good performance may not see their stock prices rise, while companies with poor performance often see their stock prices fall. This is mainly because the current market position is already high, and there is a lack of momentum for further capital push. Therefore, in the current market situation, simply betting on earnings performance may carry considerable risk.

With the reshaping of global trade patterns and the successive release of key economic data, investors need to closely monitor market trends and prudently assess their investment strategies.
