Bifrost Runtime 20,000: A massive leap for cross-chain staking and governance
The upgraded version Runtime 20,000 has officially "launched" with a series of breakthrough improvements — helping Bifrost get closer to its goal of becoming the leading cross-chain staking and governance platform in the Polkadot ecosystem.
🔧 What's new in this upgrade?
🔁 vDOT can now be transferred between AssetHub and Bifrost – opening up multidimensional liquidity space for DeFi strategies.
🗳️ Integrate the "deleGate voting" feature in the vTokenVoting module – users can easily delegate their voting rights.
⚙️ Optimize vToken exchange rate model – improve conversion efficiency and staking yield.
🌉 Support vToken compatible with multiple (bridges) – bringing the potential to expand to other systems like Ethereum, Arbitrum, etc.
🧬 The initial step of integrating SLPx into AssetHub – laying the groundwork for more complex DeFi on Polkadot.
🗳️ Special: DeleGated Voting Track (DVT)
For the first time, the idle vDOT ( voluntarily delegated by users to Bifrost) will be activated to participate in on-chain voting.
