The first Sui Global Hacker Marathon successfully concluded

In the eight-week Sui Overflow Hackathon, 32 winners emerged from 352 outstanding projects. The winners received first, second, and third prizes in eight tracks, with two third prizes in each track.

This hackathon offers developers the opportunity to showcase innovative ideas and Move programming skills, with projects covering a variety of types from developer tools to games. Eight specific tracks are divided into two main categories: technology and product. The competition lasts from April 21 to June 21, with participants presenting their projects to 47 judges during the Demo Day on the weekend of June 15. The judging panel includes field experts, investors, and well-known developers.

In addition to the awards selected by the review committee, the Sui community also voted online to select the 10 most popular projects. Furthermore, 10 student teams received awards, along with special awards granted to some ecological projects.

The competition projects come from 79 countries, with the highest participation from India, China, Nigeria, Vietnam, and the United States. Participants range from students to experienced blockchain developers, many of whom have development experience on other public chains. The judges selected 65 projects to advance to the finals and ultimately chose the winners in each category.
