Ethereum Geth v1.9.13 released with a performance optimization increase of 10%.
The latest client version of the Ethereum network, Geth v1.9.13, was officially released recently. This update brings several important improvements, including a new Snapshot format that is not yet enabled by default but lays the groundwork for future optimizations. Additionally, the new version has made significant progress in block processing speed, achieving about a 10% efficiency improvement compared to previous versions.
It is worth noting that the new version has increased the transaction propagation size limit from the original 64 KB to 128 KB, a change that is expected to improve the network's throughput capability. Another practical feature is that HTTP and WebSocket services can now run simultaneously on the same port, which will bring greater flexibility to developers and node operators.
