Gate has obtained permission from the UK FCA to provide encryption asset derivation trading services.
[Chain News] On May 11, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) released a latest statement, announcing the scope of licensing for Gate Group's subsidiary Gate Global Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Gate") to provide cryptocurrency-related services in the UK. Among them, Gate can offer UK clients trading services for crypto assets derivation, including futures, contract for difference (CFD), and Options products.
Gate is also allowed to provide other financial services related to crypto assets, including:
It is worth noting that although Gate has obtained licenses for the aforementioned Crypto Assets related services, the FCA specifically emphasizes that the company is currently not allowed to provide spot Crypto Assets trading services within the UK.
According to the statement, the FCA also requires Gate to clearly disclose relevant information on its official website and App, including the company's registered name, registered address, FCA registration number, etc., to ensure that customers can clearly identify Gate's identity and regulatory status.
